Himachal Pradesh is known as a trekker's paradise. India's The Himalayan state has long been a favorite among avid trekkers and adventure seekers. The state has some of the most exciting journeys that one can only dream of. Himachal has it all: high-altitude treks, glacier treks, fun treks, you name it, and Himachal has it Indrahar pass trek.

 

Whether it's a challenging trek like Pin Parvati or Hampta Pass or a basic one like Triund Trek, this hilly state has something for everyone. I enjoy Himachali treks because of the high mountain passes, scenic scenery, panoramic Himalayan views, and gushing river.

 

Indrahar Pass, perched at 4,324 feet above sea level, is one such mountain pass that draws trekkers from all over the world. This pass, which is located in the Dhauladhar Range of the mighty Himalayas, is also popular with tourists due to its proximity to the Dharamshala Indrahar pass trek.

 




Indrahar Pass is a Himachal mountain pass that runs from McLeod Ganj in Kangra district to the Dhauladhar range. Though you might be familiar with the well-known Triund trek,

 the Indrahar pass trek is an extended version of it. Triund and Lahesh Caves are visited during the trek.

 

Though it is longer than Triund, the Indrahar pass trek is still relatively short in terms of days spent on the trail. Being brief does not indicate that it is any less captivating.

 

The Indrahar pass trek  is a thrilling adventure that takes you to the scenic Himalayan ranges, including the famous alluring, snow-capped Dhuladhar ranges. The thrilling element, however, does not end here. The trekkers love camping around the Lahesh caves, which adds to the enjoyment of the trek.

 

Indrahar pass is situated at an elevation of 4342 meters/14,245 feet on the Himachal state boundary between Kangra and Chamba districts. The thrilling trekking adventure begins in the small town of Mcleodganj and continues to the pass. This thrilling trek helps you to get up close and personal with Himachal's breathtaking Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal mountain ranges.


 



There are many stunning views on the Indrahar pass trek, including spectacular views of the popular Mani Mahesh Kailash and the snow-covered Pir Panjal Range. The hike is moderate, but that doesn't mean it's fast. The trails follow the Ravi valley and Lahaul grazing pastures, which are used by the Gaddi shepherds.

 

The Indrahar pass trek is an ultimate adventure that involves continuous climbing, mostly over boulders, as well as ridge crossing Indrahar pass trek.

Chanderkhani Pass Trek

                        Chanderkhani Pass Trek   The journey started at ISBT at 2000 hours, with a Volvo. The Swedes seem to have planned these buses specifically for Indian needs, as the entire bag and luggage of the 13-strong trekking team, which was quite a feat considering the rations for 5 days and other necessities, was easily accommodated alongside that of the other co-travelers.
